Throughout history, people from all cultures and backgrounds have sought a relationship with the divine, sensing a higher power at work in the world. Whenever they faced the unknown, they often attributed it to God. Unfortunately, this lack of understanding led to the belief that God was the culprit of all human calamity, creating a distance between sinful, hurting humanity, and a loving God.

At different times, God revealed Himself progressively, showing His true nature and purpose. To demonstrate His love for us beyond any doubt and to show that He is not distant, God became a man in the person of Jesus Christ. Born of a virgin, He lived among us, performed miracles to confirm His divine nature, and laid down His life to take the punishment for our sins. He showed perfect love, defeated sin and death, and reconciled us to God. But he did not stay dead. After three days, He rose again, and because He lives, you too can have eternal life.

God is not angry with you. He has already paid the price for your sins. His love is boundless, His grace immeasurable, and His power limitless. No matter how deep you’ve fallen, His hand is long enough to lift you out of any pit. Your sins are forgiven. All that’s left is for you to accept the gift He has already given.
